Erectile dysfunction medications took in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.

A guy was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medicines through the internet.

The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medication offences.

He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.

Its office, Peter Moore, stated: “It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be unsafe.

"These types of items being offered, usually online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.

"You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More notably, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health.“
